An internship at the Odyssey Institute is a challenging commitment for recent graduates looking for work and life experience. All internships are dynamic, full-time, semester-length positions at the Odyssey Institute’s Bali headquarters in Ubud. We accept interns on a rolling quarterly basis. Successful applicants will be exposed to a range of experiences in the following areas:

Program Facilitation: Interns will assist with delivery of Learning Adventures for youth groups and schools. This may include: a) residing at tropical wilderness locations such as our campsite in West Bali National Park; b) co-facilitation of courses and/or activities at remote/semi-urban field sites; c) daily preparation of teaching materials; d) assistance with digital media projects; e) reconnaissance missions and/or site visits.

Business administration: Interns will also be involved in various aspects of day-to-day company administration including: a) systems and information management (eg. CRM / client + sales databases); b) communication with clients (teachers, parents, students, etc); c) grant writing; d) general ongoing research projects such as market research, academic and location/resource research, etc; and e) marketing – interns will be expected to creatively contribute to the blog, press releases, e-newsletters and other marketing collaterals.
